SYNOPSIS
Four women - An expectant mother, an ex-convict, an NGO activist and a corporate executive meet while crossing the narrow bridge in the Afterlife that leads to Heaven but stretches over Hellfire. A slip of the foot on the narrow bridge due to bad deeds dragging on your heels would lead to a descent into Hellfire. While negotiating that bridge, they discover that they are all from the same land, Malaya - although only one of them calls it Malaya. One calls it Malaysia. One calls it Singapore. The fourth calls it home.
A play about how much one's identity is tied to the motherland, how much is shaped by prescribed categorizations and what a motherland truly means. And of course, whether all of this matters in the path to Eternity.
