SYNOPSIS
Hsinghai Art Association was established in1973 by a group of youths who shared the same interest and passion for music and the arts. Over the years, the Association has presented numerous concerts and collaborated with renowned conductors, musicians, composers and vocalists from China, such as conductor cum composer Qu Chun Quan, conductors Li Hua De and Wang Yong Ji.
Since inception, the Association has actively participated in numerous national arts festivals, Chinese music festivals and choir festivals such as the Choir Festival organised by Choral Association (Singapore).

At the individual level, the Association’s members have participated in national music competitions and won numerous prizes. The Association also continues to be active in promoting Chinese classical music, and conducts classes for Chinese instruments such as guzheng, erhu and yangqin.
