SYNOPSIS
The Mosaic Music Festival Bright Young Things jazz mentorship programme, headed by Singapore instructor-mentors jazz bassist Dr. Tony Makarome, pianist Joshua Wan, drummer Soh Wen Ming and vocalist Melissa Tham, returns for the third year running. This programme aims to identify, nurture and support the next generation of jazz talents.
Free Beer is a sextet made up of individuals heavily influenced by jazz. Their name reflects the band’s fun-loving nature, and their passion for music keeps them together. Band members Enya Lim (vocals), Joe Tan (guitar), Sooty Heng (piano), Samuel Cheah (alto sax) and Eugene Seow (drums) team up with guest bassist and Bright Young Things alum Seow Yi Zhe  to perform their interpretations of the music of Irving Berlin.

During his 60-year career he wrote some 1,500 songs, including White Christmas, Happy Holidays, There's No Business Like Show Business, and God Bless America. Berlin died at age 101 in 1989.
