Esplanade - My Musical Diary

SYNOPSIS

A storyteller, Zahidah writes about the unspoken stories of the people she has met before. Their happiness, struggles, turmoil and inspirations are showcased in the lyrics and melodies of her songs.

Her most notable performances include being the opening act for Copeland during their farewell tour in Asia, as well as for YouTube twin sensations, Jayesslee.

In July 2011, Zahidah's song collaboration with The Lion Story for Lagu Teman, won the award for Best Local Song (Singapore) during Anugerah Planet Muzik 2011, an annual award show for the regional Malay music industry. She was also crowned champion at 987FM’s The Next Big Thing singing/songwriting competition.

In conjunction with the Cold Storage Kids Run that will be held on Sunday, 20 May 2012, certain roads around Esplanade will be closed.
