SYNOPSIS

This Valentine’s Day, lose yourself in the sensuous rhythms of Latin music.

Join Alina Ramirez on the piano and Mario Lopez on bass and guitar as they bring you the sounds of South America, Europe and beyond through a selection of Spanish love songs, contemporary and traditional Latin tunes, covers as well as originals.

Since moving to Singapore 13 years ago, the Mexican couple has been composing their own music and performing in festivals and concerts islandwide.

Accompanied by their band, Ireson—featuring the talents of Cuban drummer Pablo Calzado, guitarist Ernesto Enriquez and vocalist Carlos Sendros—their unique and contemporary sound is an amalgamation of Afro-Latin rhythms, bomba, samba, bossa nova, Mexican and Cuban folkloric music.

The band is also joined by special guests Marques Young (trombone), Christophe Torchi (saxophone) and Eddie Wen (trumpet).

General Late Seating Advisory

You are strongly advised to be seated 15 minutes before the performance start time.
No admission will be allowed into the venue once the performance has commenced.
Exceptions may be made at Esplanade's discretion depending on the nature of the performance.

Road closures around Esplanade â Theatres on the Bay on 20 May 2012

In conjunction with the Cold Storage Kids Run that will be held on Sunday, 20 May 2012, certain roads around Esplanade will be closed.

Patrons are advised that with effect from 12 March 2004, an administrative fee of $5 per ticket is payable for all Replacement Tickets issued.

Please note the following conditions:

- Replacement Tickets can only be issued for performances with reserved seating.
- No Replacement Ticket will be issued for general admission or 'free seating' performances.
- Replacement Tickets are issued subject to verification of patron's details against our transaction records.
- Esplanade reserves the right to not issue a Replacement Ticket if we are not able to verify the claim.
- All patrons (including children) must have tickets for admission to ticketed events.
- Infants-in-arms and children aged below six years will not be admitted to ticketed events unless otherwise stated.
