Driven by popular demand for a more casual dining place at Esplanade, Space @ My Humble House was opened in August 2004. Designed by internationally renowned design guru Mr Junpei Yamagiwa and his team from Myu Planning, Tokyo, this casual-chic 34-seater restaurant sits next to My Humble House. The restaurant is conceptualized with the theatre-goers at The Esplanade in mind, and most items on the menu, which features Singapore's favourite local fare with a twist, are one-dish meals of salads, soups, rice, noodles or a light snack.
